About Us

I’m Dennis Henderson, founder of SOCIAL Magazine. After a spinal cord injury in 2016, I returned to school at City College and Sacramento State, earning degrees in business. My journey led me to pursue my passion for photography and storytelling, ultimately creating SOCIAL Magazine—a social media-based publication blending written articles with video and visual storytelling.

SOCIAL Magazine highlights artists, businesses, food vendors, teams, and events, with a focus on accessibility for those with visual impairments. We share powerful stories from Sacramento and beyond through photos, interviews, and videos.
